"Odessa and Kyle James were just your average American boys until the Christmas they went upstairs and killed their parents in cold blood... and smiled. Two years later, the trial is over and the James boys have an appointment with the electric chair. Refusing to give the media and the public the woeful explanations they expect, the brothers, with their unsavory humor and complete lack of remorse, become the kind of media heroes that only late 1990's America could embrace.
